I have to agree, most RFP's aren't even worth the time. Just went thru this with a customer based here in Ontario, who was forced by the bean counters their US based head office to do a RFP for the first time, and told to include US based brokers in the process. Needless to say, this company who has always only dealt with asset based carriers no longer does, the US brokers undercut so bad that it was impossible to compete.
