I am a recent business graduate from University of Guelph. I am currently looking to start my career in the transportation industry and would appreciate some advice. Should I get my ciffa certificate?

The problem I am having now is I am applying to logistics companies for administrative positions but I am having a difficult time because of my lack of experience... any suggestions on how I could start my career?

thx

I have 2 sons who both have graduated from University and are trying to get into their line of work of choice (thankfully neither is interested in trucking)
They have both accepted 6 month internships at companies in order to learn and to have something to start a resume with.
Call some larger carriers or 3PL's in your area and explain your situation. You never know. Call the OTA, they may be able to point you in the right direction.
Good luck!
