Anyone know how to move an SUV from Toronto - Calgary Alberta?
any service providers?

Paul:

Unless the customer is requesting an auto hauler just about anyone will load into a van if no docks. Call a roll off tow truck on each end to load and unload. It is $50-$100 bucks for the roll off - I do cars in vans all the time. Or most guys can get them on a flat or step this way also.

It's almost impossible to legally/adequately secure a vehicle in a van trailer.

Hire the guys that do it for a living and you know it will be done properly.

Auto transport

I used to deliver three cars in a dry box for delivery into New York regularly. The hardest part is getting out of the car door.

We would simply nail wood blocks to the floor and run logistics straps across the front and back of the vehicle in a secure spot that would not damage the vehicle.

We often haul forklifts the same way.

Naturally, this with experienced drivers that can use their head. To unload/load if there is no dock - just call a flatbed tow truck, he will happily help you out for $50.00.

Thurstons on Rexdale Blvd. move vehicles on a regular basis to Alberta and B.C. in closed auto wagons. Professionals.
Livingston move them on open car carrier trailers

It is pretty hard to get a smile out of a tow truck driver. Ask him to back up to your trailer , you drive your car on his bed and then he lowers the bed.
He does not get dirty and usually he travels a mile or two to get to you. Pretty good money for 10 minutes of work. He usually smiles and wants you to call him next time you are there.

Now if it's your big truck, with them darn foreign plates. He speed dials his notary to make sure you can sign over the truck if you cant pay the bill!!
