The first time I searched must have done it wrong because i couldn't find anything on them. I have insurance that shows they have one truck. They wanted one of my loads this morning for a very very low rate, which always makes me suspicious. I noticed on the link the person who called for the load is listed in their brokerage division.

Consolidated Carriers Inc. is owned and operated by two partners who have an extensive background in transportation and logistics.
Wayne W. McCord spent several years in traffic management with a large international company in the plant and corporate office environments. In 1975, Mr. McCord moved to the carrier side of industry and rose to the position of Vice President, Traffic. Mr. McCord later became Vice President, Pricing with Canada's largest transport company. Mr. McCord started a transportation consulting company in 1992.
David J. Uhrig has spent over twenty-five years on both sides of the transportation industry. Mr. Uhrig has extensive experience in rate/pricing analysis, audit, and operations from both the carrier and shipper perspective. Most recently, Mr. Uhrig was with a large transportation management firm which specialized in third party logistics and complete transportation management for its many clients.
Sometimes carriers do take loads cheap if the driver has been sitting out there for long and most owner operators take a percentage of the load, so sometimes they will take loads like this to move a driver etc.
