Canada Post adamantly denies Driver Inc. links, faces pushback from MP committee, CTA

I wonder is they issued T4A slips to everyone before March or are they exempt being Mafia run sorry I mean goverment run
 
We don't use that business model, but we probably hire poorly vetted brokers and carriers that, in turn, hire the lowest bidder to move our freight. (Driver Inc carriers).
 
I'm sure Canada Post uses the exact same methodology to acquire their trucking vendors as most other freight payors. Get quotes, put them in a spreadsheet, sort Z-->A and that is the guy that gets the freight. Only the base qualifications are necessary; is the price the lowest and are they a real business. Don't look any further to see if they actually have trucks, inter-provincial authorities, types of insurance or anything else.
