The Commercial Carrier Journal is reporting that there will be an exemption in California with fleets who run under 5000-7500 miles per year there. My 06's are supposed to be no longer welcome as of 1/1/14, but this could change that. Last 4 quarters I ran 6171 miles in California.
Has anybody got more information on this? Is it fleet wide or just non-compliant vehicles, my o7's and 08's are, from what I can figure out, still welcome there.
Do I have to register with carb for my 07/08's to run there?
Has anybody got a good handle on this stuff? The information maze on the various websites baffles me. I'm open deck, so the smartway thing doesn't apply to me, and the more I read, the more confused I get.
