C.A.T. Transport Inc. - Coteau-du-Lac, QC - 450-763-6363

I'm sure there are past threads on C.A.T. In need of current payment trends on the above noted company.

Anyone currently dealing with them - good or bad feedback?

Would be appreciated - thank you.

They have been DNU in our system for a couple years will not pay waiting time most of their agents would not know the truth if it bit them in the ass. Oh ya and 100 days to pay also. All in all not very good to deal with since they went the agent route same as FLS.

They've been inactive with us for quite awhile also - but keep "popping up"... D&B isn't good either....just wondered if there was a chance their payments had improved with anyone currently working with them....

Anybody have anything new to add for CAT? We have them on our DNU list, took them off in Dec 2013 because they promised better but it turned out to be 90+ days and we put them back on hold.

They're now begging us to take a load and I said COD but they can't seem to manage that one. They're a big company touting that they're moving to CNG trucks with Ryder but...

I have the address of:
C.A.T. Global
10 ALCORN AVE
Toronto, ON M4V 3A9

Regardless of the office - your payments will come from the MTL office. We did do some work with them again recently (and hesitantly...) The payments did come in within 45 days - large amounts. There was a bit of confusion with WHO was handing AP but when that was resolved - no issue. We would deal with them again. Things have changed over there - based on our recent experience with C.A.T.

I didnt like CAT but we hired a new dispatcher that had a contact there and he books loads with them almost every day for the past year, they don't have any invoices over 45 days and waiting time gets addressed quickly and revised confirmations come over without grief. So I think they are really a good, I don't personally deal with them but they do have some good paying freight and our other dispatchers get along well with them.

Gord M your new dispatch has a really good contact at CAT. And I'm not sure where the REALLY GOOD RATES are coming from. they must have been desperate. Yes they do pay, but they are at around 90 to 100 days with us

we did get paid .. eventually .. sent truck to pick up shipment, they cancelled shipment, sent us a new confirmation for "truck not used" .. and only took 135 days to pay 150.00 invoice .. (only after numerous calls) ..

Good Morning Everyone - I'm glad I found these postings as feedback, good or bad, is appreciated and helps us become a better company. C.A.T. Global has three active over the road brokerage offices (Memphis, Toronto, and Montreal) and communication and service should be at the same standard no matter who you are dealing with. All carrier payments are processed out of our corporate office where we have worked hard to improve the processes and payment time.

If anyone has any outstanding issues or concerns please contact me directly at jmartineau@catlogi.com or 800-897-3343 ext 201. I feel confident that we are at the level we need to be in order for you to feel comfortable doing business with us, but if that is not the case please reach out to me and I will address it personally.

Sincerely,

Jayson Martineau
Vice President and General Manager

To be honest, I was upset when I noticed our dispatcher accepted two loads from CAT a couple months ago as we had had big trouble collecting in the past. But, payment came in at about 45 days without any hassle and in full. So, maybe things are changing over there. We would work with them again based on recent dealings.
Regards
Boss
