Does anyone have any info on ByExpress? they're terminal in in Ottawa and head office in Alexandria ON? Trying to get paid on four outstanding invoices and starting to get worried.

I saw a Alexandria Mouldings trailer being hauled by a tractor that had a large script that included the word "EXPRESS" with a little script before that could have been "BY".
Since the Alexandria ON addresses are only a block apart, the moulding company might have some info, other than what is on ByExpress's website

We were paid by a Freight broker to deliver there. We did not work on their behalf and were subsequently paid by the broker.

The above contact is no longer with our company, but the address and numbers are correct. We do not do courier anymore, although the company did start in the courier business.
Just to give you guys a heads up, if you are looking for status for payment you can call our office at 613-739-3000 and talk to Katie.
We are an asset based company that does have a 3PL side. We have a 15,000sqft facility in Ottawa, a 30,000 sqft facility in Alexandria, On and smaller terminals in Montreal and Toronto.

As per the original thread requesting credit information - is anyone currently dealing with By Express?

We did 3 loads in June and they took 70 days for one and 90 for the other 2 so we are not doing to much work for them. Interesting enough they do a lot for us and do a good job and oh yeah get paid in about 35 days (cheque in hand)

If you get treated so poorly by By Express why not treat them the same way and "hold" their cheques? Let them calll you for payment.

Ralph we treat them the way we want to be treated.........but guess what when that doesn't happen we will not do any work for them.
Our apologies for anyone getting paid late. We have made changes in the AP and AR department in August/September. Things are catching up and the slow payments are usually due to paperwork issues now.
Please check pur Transcredit or DnB report if anyone has access to it. If anyone wants it please pm and I can have it emailed.

This is the thing I don't understand about companies like this. How is some little AP or AR girl responsible for the corporations in inability to pay service providers timely. This is all BS. I have never done a load for them, they never know jack about the load they are selling and are cheap. Not on my DND loads for list but really wouldn't do a load for them all the same.
