Bright Transport LTD MC#654503 Surrey BC

We use Bright quite a bit.. good carrier, BUT HIGHLY suggest not putting them on a load that has hard delivery dates.. if you have flexibility with the delivery date / no fines then they're great! We are very good friends with the owner and his brothers trucking company.

Exactly this, a good carrier but I definitely wouldn't use them on something time-sensitive. Never had them double broker my freight but they have been a bit tardy to deliveries here and there but no major problems from the customer's side.

Edit: only used them as a carrier, cant speak for payment terms.

This basically echoes my experience with them as a carrier.

The stuff we put them on was FCFS, if it was a day or 2 late, didn't really matter.

Wouldn't throw them on Loblaws or strict apt stuff.

Tried to hire them once a couple years back on a load. Sent them a tender, all was good until cancelled abruptly on me on a Friday afternoon with zero explanation.

On my DNU.

I use Bright a lot. Never had issues with them double brokering my freight or making delivery or pickup appts. All carriers have some issues with that but communication with them is good from my side.

This happened last night.

Driving around Surrey this morning was an absolute gong show.... I don't think they are very big only a few trucks. An accident like this might put them under if Bright was deemed to be at fault.

Being told the Bright driver is in critical condition. There was a TikTok video showing a fight at the scene as well. Hope the driver pulls through.

It's crazy that the 17 still has traffic lights, it should at least be a controlled left turn, I've seen countless times where cars and trucks blow through that red light.

Hopefully the driver pulls through!

We had a situation with Bright that they took a load from MIG Freight / MC090634 (which was the carrier we gave the load too). Around 30 days after the load was delivered, Bright reached out to our customer, shipper and us for payment as MIG did not pay them. Not sure if they ever got paid in the end.

well assuming you paid MIG, i'd want to make sure the hauling carrier did actually get paid. BOL ACT, I'd read up on it. Not something to be nonchalant about.

also please update MIG Freight's thread about your experience, sounds like they double brokered your load to Bright. That is exactly the type of Info this forum was created for.
