Hello Fellow Trucking Companies,

I just wanted you all to be aware of the scam that is being going by Brands International Corporation from Newmarket ON. This customer does 8 to 15 loads in a row with all carriers and later stops communication after 1 to 2 months while the time comes for payment.

We are trying to get paid since June 2024; our manager did went to their office and found many other trucking companies have been scammed by them, as other companies came as well to look for payment in their office.

Some things never change. Had them as a customer almost 15 years ago and they were bad payers from the start. We would just hold the loads until they paid up to current and then carried on.
We did that for quite awhile until they got shady and started running around to brokers and other carriers and then told them to hit the road.
Who knew that dollar store toiletries weren't the way to get rich lol

Not surprising the list is mainly brokers, most carriers who have an ear to the ground are well aware of this company.

We never dealt with Brans International but Did load for Kuthala, ( Brands load) which they loaded from their own dock and had to chase them for our money. ( separate tread for Kuthala)
