BK Farms, Nova Scotia

Just got a call from "Jack" at BK (or something sounding like BK) Farms in Nova Scotia wanting me to send him our package as he wants to get us set up in his system right away because he has lots of loads coming out of ON that he needs carriers for. Gave me his phone and fax numbers, and said after I fax my package he will fax his and get me to sign it. Sounds fishy to me because I couldn't find them on the Link, he did not tell me which lanes he needed serviced, he didn't ask for any rates, number was blocked, etc... Needless to say I did not send him anything.
Has anyone else been called by these guys? Are they legit? All info is appreciated.

Wasn't there a scam by a guy named "Jack" not too long ago. Got ahold of someones authorities and used them to steal freight?

It is entirely possible. Lately it seems new "brokers" are showing up on a daily basis.
