Beware of this carrier! Full of lies.
Big Boss is a division of Sim Freight - same group of people in dispatch (Roshita)
If they answer an email (I don't think I had a single email answered over the past two days....) it probably contains lie after lie.
They missed a pick up for us yesterday afternoon. We were told that driver had a coolant leak and was empty but waiting to be repaired. Would be on site soon -- but the location information provided by dispatch, and provided by the driver were very different. (Breakdowns happen, but the lack of communication was a huge issue.) Information was never proactively given to our dispatch team, we had to ask for information constantly.) Driver called our shipper and told them he still had to get empty. Thankfully we were easily able to recover our pick up.
However, it was too late to try and recover our next load, and we believe in second chances. (Another carrier had already failed us on this load and waiting to recover until this morning wasn't an option.) They were to pick up a load last night for us at 9 PM, came in this morning to trace and was told driver was empty, 2 hours away and would be on site at the shipper for 11 am. I was able to obtain the drivers cell number from dispatch and called the driver at 11 am to confirm he was on site for pick up. Only to be told by the driver that he still had a delivery to make almost 200 miles from our pick up! Plus he was still 50 miles to his delivery. I had the driver call me back once he was empty and rolling to pick up (to ensure my information was up to date) while actively recovering the load for pick up earlier than they could provide. During this time we had NO communication from dispatch in regards to further delays!
We were able to recover this load as well and Big Boss has been moved to our DNU list after two days of constant lies, waiting for information, and failing two loads back to back for us.
