Any one familiar with this company? Owes us over $10K but refuses to pay due to "companies going bankrupt on him"
Not sure what steps to take here, open to suggestions.

Call everyone and anyone on the bol and get your money. Send Bill to the shipper and receiver whatever it takes. The broker has lost all respect for you what do you care if you cost him a customer at this point. If he has a bond go after it asap.

Sadly this is normal business for these guys I’ve heard… never dealt with them but where there’s smoke there fire.

We use Vangaurd collections for our work (which is maybe once a year) but honestly don’t be afraid to call people out on social media.

Facebook has the Deadbeat companies page and I know BG Western is active on LinkedIn. No payment gives you the right to blow people up and not feel bad about it.

Yes, BG western owe me 4k, same exact runaround, companies went bankrupt, hes in the hospital.. hes very active on facebook groups, basically all Vancouver Island/Alberta trucking pages. Im billing the customers I completed the work for, and letting anyone else know on facebook to be very careful in dealing with them.
