Once again, a criminal organization from Quebec has stolen another companies identity and is booking freight to steal it. This is the same scam being pulled under the Transvision name previously.
Today we (Chill Chain Logistics) posted a load from Trenton ON to Louisville KY. A fellow named Nick, claiming to be from Q-Trans St. Laurent PQ booked the load with us. Ever since we where stung by the Transvision scam, we are doing lot's to confirm identities of new carriers. We went on line and called the Q trans Phone # from there website which does not match what we recieved via fax. We called Nick at the real Q Trans and after a couple minutes realized this was not the same people. Nick at the real Q Trans has been informed of the scam and I assume is taking steps to rectify, whatever they may be.
Beware of anyone calling himself Nick from Q-Trans his # is 1-438-838-2687. This is a fake # .All of this guy's paperwork looks legit.
