BEWARE OF MANNAN TRANSPORT - THEY DO NOT PAY THEIR INVOICES

Them doing double brokerage positive.

Owe me 1800 for 45 days. I find out they already paid from revolution factoring business Dnu. I call customer today

This company has been on DNU for over a year. They double brokered a load for us from Montreal,QC to Sobeys QC Frozen. I do not beleive they have a single asset on the road. Not only did they double broker it but they never froze the product, a claim of 12k was issued.

MANNAN TRANSPORT ARE SCAMMERS

It's true, they don't pay, they take work from brokers and double broker to carriers, they are located in their home in downtown Montreal. 0 truck. 0 asset.

They ow us more then 15k and they are not answering anymore.

Good Morning Johnny. I work for Alexander, Winton & Associates and If you are having issues with getting paid from them let me know. I can help you out as that's what I do for a living. We work strictly on contingency so, if we don't collect for you, we don't get paid. I'm not showing anything on them.

Stay away from this carrier, we contracted them for a local liftgate delivery. We dropped the freight to their dock. Once in their possession they demanded pre-payment and an amount much high than what was agreed upon. We had no choice but to EFT the funds and even then they were not delivering our freight. I'm sure they double brokered it and got another carrier to do it. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.

Reactions: Freight Broker
Warning: Mannan Transport Inc. (Montreal, QC)

Confirmed a load with them—everything was good to go. Ten minutes before scheduled pickup, they suddenly emailed saying they couldn’t do the load. No real explanation, and when I tried to follow up, they stopped answering calls and emails completely.

As a broker, this kind of last-minute cancellation is unacceptable. It hurts our reputation with customers who expect reliability. I’ve removed them from our system and blocked them on Loadlink. Use caution—this dispatch is not dependable.

You dodged a bullet. They held my freight hostage earlier this year and ended up double brokering it after I paid them what they demanded which was 3 or 4 times what we initially agreed too. After that experience and then discovering this thread, I do thorough online research before contracting a carrier. You live and you learn...
