Best Load Boards for Brokers

welcome to the club lol Frankly speaking there are not many other Canadian competitors to LL. Evotrux seemed like it had a honest approach but they are more geared toward direct shippers and western cross-border freight. Not sure if they take on Brokers but its worth a shot. Other than that you'll wanna look state side as they have a good variety of boards, but again they cater to their local markets. Would like to see what others on this forum have to say.

Hi There Melroy-appreciate the insight. We have been with Loadlink for over 15 years, the trouble is that they will no longer support remote offices and have enforced the enterprise platform at 3x the monthly rate. Unable to justify the additional cost.

For those of us old enough to remember, there actually was a time before Load Link. Back then brokers and carriers used either a well worn Rolodex, or a well thumbed binder filled with names and phone numbers of every possible source of either freight or trucks. We seemed to survive. However, those were different times. Nowhere near the number of carriers and brokers that are operating in the industry today. Back then it was almost possible to know, or know of just about everybody. If I called a carrier asking for availability, if they didn’t have it chances were they had just spoken to another carrier that did and freely offered up that name. Again, very different times. It would certainly seem now a days that we are either addicted to or dependent upon the services of Load Link.

offering up a name of a friend who is also a crrier is not a problem - however I cannot vouch for service and that's where I hesitate to recommned anyone if I cannot cover

In 99% of the cases, the carrier name being offered up was someone we already knew and had dealt with but we didn’t know they had a truck close to where our load was that particular day. Again, in the days prior to LL, no one knew where anyone was unless you asked or checked the fax sheet of available trucks/loads that almost every carrier and broker sent out each morning.
