Being Threatened To Call our Customer

Good to hear lowmiler. As I said above I figured it would eventually.

Threats don't often pay off... Relationships and communication do.

Close the book on this one and it's on to a whole new issue (gotta love transportation... no two days are the same).

Sorry but I don't understand this. Pickup is for Saturday but you are going to be there Friday? You went above and beyond to deliver Friday? Load canceled and your driver is going to sit how long?

I had an outbound shipment scheduled to deliver on Friday, at first. Once this load was offered to me, I rescheduled our appointment to deliver in the US for Saturday. That is to accommodate the broker that wanted us to pick up inbond shipment on Saturday coming back to Canada. But at 17h45 on Friday night, suddently the load coming back was no longer.

Michael got it right. And the actual agent tried to pretend they had tried to reach me on phone and couldn't so that is why they cancelled on me by email... Not even the guts of calling. Of course, I was still at my office so I would have heard any phone call comign in, which stangely never happened....

Please do yourself a favor and do not load Rock Tenn facilities. As far as I am concerned, I'll reject any loads from now on that has this stamp on.
