indemnity clauses are now illegal in many states, anyone who signs contracts should contact a lawyer for anything concerning indemnity clauses.

I especially like the shippers who ask to be indemnified and held harmless if someone gets hurt because their employee makes a mistake, AKA if their employee falls off the dock and breaks his arm, the driver/carrier would be held responsible, right...
