Bancroft, ON to Mississauga 3 skids

Good afternoon and Happy Thursday!
I have 3 skids about 2,000 lbs in Bancroft ON (it's about 110 kms North of Belleville) going to Mississauga, needs to deliver by Monday Noon.
Anyone know a carrier that serves that area?

Meyers won't pick that up on their own truck. They broker out just about everything they touch. They barely have trucks ha ha. It would probably come on Apsley-Peterborough Transport (APT) to Cathcart's Toronto linehaul truck and then get dumped on MET's dock in Mississauga. Or maybe Misers will take it to MET.

Try Apsley-Peterborough Transport/Cathcart Trucking. Basically the same company. They have a pedal run that goes up there.

Deck may go up there.

Midland Transport uses Cathcart/APT so call them and you'll get a decent rate. At least you'll know who is handling the freight.

There's really nobody else that goes there on an LTL basis so you'll be paying almost a truckload kind of rate.

Hey NPB... Do you know if Paxton is still around? Didn't they at one time have a few straights that were moving onesie twosie's into the GTA? (Transport Overload or something like that?)

Yep! Good ol' Russ is still around. He might be able to go north. Paxton also owns Transport Overload (their storage trailer outfit) and DC Foster. DC mostly has panel/sprinter vans though.
