hello everybody out there,looking for alittle help from the carriers,we have been trying to collect 2200.00 from a&m import located 1236 birchmount st in scarborough for 170 days now.the owner is a guy called aktar,and he keeps telling us his records show he's all paid up,he also owes one of his suppliers in alabama 10k and johal transport for at least one invoice,

Did you ask him to send you a copy of the cheque that was cashed for your payment to show that it cleared his bank?
Frustrating when people play games with our money.....

Court - File

I would file a Plantiff form against the company - 7A. You can get it on-line and it will cost you basically your time and $75. It will probably scare him when he receives it via courier. He will have 10 days to file a defense (in which he doesn't have) and then it will go to a settlement conference. The court will send him a date in which attendance is mandatory. My experience is majority of "delinquents" don't want to get involved with court proceedings - nor do they like people "snooping" around their business or "halting" their day to day operations.
 
Hey DRC... do you have a link to that site to get the form 7A????

I have several people I would like to slap with that form :)
