bad cheques...no solution

Watch out for Finelli Cabinets...Tony writes bad cheques...nice guy returns phone calls and appears to be still in business....we been pretty patient but to no resolve...so careful giving him services....he claims he doesn't have any credit cards....he also doesn't have any money

For any NSF cheques you receive...
They can be put "on collection" via your own bank.
Service charges may range from $15.00 - $25.00 but it does work!
And I have one from USA that I am placing tomorow.

Retain a photocopy of front & back of the NSF item. Fill out a deposit form as a record that your bank has taken the cheque back for "collection purposes". Have the teller stamp the deposit book as a receipt. Advise the bank/ teller that you wish the item to be placed "on collection" They should also give you another type of receipt. It typically takes 3-4 weeks for resolution.

For USD, both banks (your bank and customer's bank) take a service fee, but its better than writing off the entire o/s amount.

And, apparently cheques that are placed on collection over ride any other banking activities. Your cheque gets paid before a mortgage payment, payroll, etc. It has worked for me in the past.

Thanks....we're gonna give it a try....I got two pieces of toilet paper with NSF stamps on them so wish me luck.
I'm not always sure of the exact purpose of this website, but I hope to use it's power for good....AND the only power I got ?
KEEP MY ACCESS TO FREIGHT AWAY FROM THE DISHONEST AND UN-ETHICAL...AND LIKEWISE...KEEP MY ACCESS TO TRUCKS AWAY FROM THE SAME...almost sounds like a pledge...
