Ran a truck 400ish miles after receiving a load confirmation to find out the load would not be ready to 3 days.
" Sorry about that" Its my customers fault. Ok we all agree on that but why do I have to pay for it.
Talked and emailed with the nice gentleman but he does not want to respond. Time to bill the customer I guess.

Good Luck

I had the same thing happen yesterday on a load I sold. Told it was ready ran a truck 125 miles to go get it as was supposed to be hot hot. The truck gets there no load. I paid him $300 and told them sorry customer and shipper said it was ready but when we get there they need test results. It will be real hot when I next find a flatbed in Ohio for it and the customer I am sure will not like the bill but not mine or the carriers fault.

Get the driver to have shipper sign a bill of lading for truck ordered no load, then bill em direct.
