Ayr, Ont. residents seek relief as trucks squeeze into downtown core

Part of the residents problem in downtown Ayr, is they don't give the drivers the space they need to make the turns.

The drivers have more room now to go around downtown Ayr than they have in the past.
Some of the issues is the pedestrians need to pay attention as well while they are out and about.

This is not all a truck driver issue.

It's true Ayr was not made for big trucks. What is in Ayr that all these trucks need to go through the core for? By the looks of the article it looks like there are a bunch of tandem tandem dump trucks rolling through there. Maybe a gravel pit is nearby? I don't think that it is freight related. Most likely drivers who are using their phone as a GPS system to get from Kitchener to 403 in Paris.

Either way, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if they put a length limit on trucks passing though Ayr. Any through trucks should be going down Trussler road (one road west) anyways.

Ayr is nothing but pits everywhere.
