Do NOT do any loads for this broker because you will never see your money there phone number is 1-800-387-9000

Ryancam,

Do they owe you funds? How much and for how long?
General statements without details are typically less powerful.

Keep well,
Mike

$950.00 since April 30/2015 and they are still operating because I sent in a quote request on their website and they replied and called me to move my car, then I asked them for my money and said a guy named Jed would call me by 2pm that has been over a week ago

check out their website autorail.com who knows who is behind this company, ask them for a quote and see how fast they reply

Quoting is great, cheques are more important.
Are you close to their office? If not, do you have a friend who can visit? Sometimes a personal visit offers results.
I seem to recall auto movers can be super sketchy (not the big, good ones).

Here's hoping you collect!
Mike

Mike great speaking with you. Yes we just got taken it seems at present. Paid up front 1900 to get a car picked up in New West minister BC. All sorts of somewhat valid excuses since our car did not have a working hand brake. So we gave Gerry a second chance they all have a gift of gab by the way. Second time around our guy with the tilt and load waited a day after numerous texts from Gerry to hang.....finally we gave up and loaded it on a flat bed and the car is now here. He has a 500 dollar cancellation policy and now is stating that his driver was waiting 7 hours for us which is factualy a lie since we have the texts. DO NOT USE.....I will update you on what transpires next.

Just tried calling Jerry and his reply was sorry cant talk for now, I have a problem with a client, but call me back later . guess what when you call back now it is voicemail again, but I will keep on him

Just talked to him again and says i am on the phone overseas please call back and then just hangs up, beware of these thieves they owe us $950.00 since april 2015

We prepaid for a Surrey BC to Montreal move, we cancelled after getting the run around for a few days. The cancellation fee is $ 500. We have never seen the prepaid amount of some $ 2950 even less the cancellation fee. This guy is a real piece of work, a really goo talker, don't get swayed stay real far.

Here is a CBC investigative report on the firm and the owner.

'We don't track vehicles every single hour of the day. We move close to 1,000 vehicles per year.'- Gerry Giovannetti, owner of Auto Rail Forwarders

What hog wash...this was his response to the poor lady in St Johns looking for her Jeep.

A thousand vehicles a year isn't all that much... he should be able to keep track of that easily enough. Poor lady got brought to tears by this clown. I hope someone makes this right for her.

No, that is whats at issue. He takes the money and if all goes well he does not pay the carrier. Carriers and brokers like us try and collect and get nowhere. He assumes that everyone will give up since he covers his tracks well. He is in Halifax. He has screwed a firm near us for a thousand asking them to do LTL a motorcycle, which they picked up and delivered. They never got paid. The carrier made a comment on this site about the issue.

The delays are encountered when someone has picked up a shipment and gotten wind of the issue. So they hold the car hostage until they get paid. The car could be anywhere, as this lady had to find her Jeep in Halifax since he could not move it to St Johns, guessing that he is getting a reputation that is finally creating a service issue. You can do that only for so long.

That auto rail guy is playing with fire. Not everyone cries and goes Public to CBC.. sooner or later he's going to get himself into a lot of trouble.
