Has anyone used Ritchie Bros to sell equipment, wondering what the normal commision is for selling 1 truck. I contacted their sales guy thinking to move one of our older units to find auction fee to seller was 14% but I could get a deal at 12.5% without even squeezing this guy. Is this the norm or are better rates available.

Call Ken Lillycrop or Ron Coyne at Bryans Auction Services. They have been in the auction business for years and Ritchies is screwing you. 5% or less is the norm at Bryans . I will put out there that Ken the owner of Bryan's and I have been friends for over 30 years and I do work his sales. Bryans has all the same buyers as Ritchie's and they have been in the business 50 years just on a smaller scale. Ken's father Bryan started it back in the 70's

Try Kul from Mann's Truck Sales 905-457-7800 if it is a truck he wants he will give you a good price for it and his money is very good, we have no problem selling him trucks the last bunch was for 6 and he gave us a blank cheque to fill out. Straight up guy the price is the price and no hassles we have dealt with him for a few years now.
