I've been in business for very long time, and it's not everyday that I give this kind of review, but I'm compelled to warn others:

Assa Providence (also operate under numbered "Ontario Ltd" business name, office in Toronto) - worst experience in a long time. It's not for the fact that they didn't pay, it's the sheer amount of nonsense and attitude I got from the their "office" (only had to deal with one lady, I'll leave the names out for now). Wasted so much of our time, rude and unprofessional, just nonsense... and all that after we went out of our way to help them. I regret ever picking up the phone, let alone decide to do any "business" with Assa. It's these fly-by-night types of operations that ruin it for everybody...

They show as only having one "truck" and the address is an apartment building in Toronto. One truck outfits are really to be avoided as a general rule.

I suggest at least 3 references and find out how long they've been doing business, and at what level if you're forced to use such a carrier as a "hail Mary, God help ya, Superman where are you" solution otherwise. It's probably a set of authorities sitting in a file folder and double-brokering.
