alpha trans is 2nd company of rollx carrier - i have worked with them ,no issue with service but they do tend to contact shipper and receiver directly to get work directly .

I have notes down on this company, we haven't used them so I can't confirm if this is true or not and the information is for their other company Roll X Carriers / MC981681 - USDOT 2912968. Maybe they're better at Alpha and aren't going to do this anymore but wanted to pass along what I have:

ROLL X HAS BEEN CAUGHT FRAUDULENTLY DOUBLE BROKERING MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS. WE HAVE RECEIVED COMMUNICATION FROM CARRIERS CITING NONPAYMENT FOR THE LOADS HAULED. WE HAVE ALSO RECEIVED LEGAL DOCUMENTATION DEMANDING PAYMENT, WITH ALL BOLS, CONFIRMATIONS, AND COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ROLL X AND CARRIERS THEY DOUBLE BROKERED OUR SHIPMENTS TO. THEY HAVE BEEN BARRED FROM OUR SYSTEM AND WILL BE RECEIVING LEGAL ACTION IF PAYMENT IS NOT MADE TO REMEDY THESE SITUATIONS.

WE TENDERED OUR LOAD #004870819 KING OF PRUSSIA, PA TO MISSISAUGA, ON TO ROLL X CARRIERS INC. THEY DOUBLE BROKERED IT TO XAN SYSTEMS. XAN HAS CONTACTED OUR CUSTOMER FOR PAYMENT, AS ROLL X CARRIER INC HAS NOT PAID THEM. WE HAVE A RATE CONFIRMATION IN HAND WHERE IT WAS DOUBLE BROKERED. LOAD PICKED UP 9/13/2023 AND WE HAVE PAID ROLL X CARRIERS INC.

I'm sure Alpha Rover will begin (they are not already) double brokering out loads just like they did with Roll X and ROll X Freight. It's the same people.
