it doesn't help, when there are 30-40 carriers competing for the same outbound load from bc or ab , sometimes this drives rates below 1 dollar a mile even on short trips ex 850 mile trip
 
It’s interesting that nothing is mentioned about AB being a haven for Carriers who could not get insurance in the rest of the country but went to AB and actually received insurance at less than what good carriers where paying in the rest of the country. Maybe more should have been mentioned that a poorly run system is just now being cleaned up and these carriers are in fact paying competitive rates with the rest of the country.
