Anyone have any service info on Airgroup Express, Surrey, BC.
Contact of David Yvr. Looks like Canadian Operations for Airgroup Express out of Bellvue,WA. Any info on service provided would be great. Thanks in advance!:)
 
Have used them 5 - 10 in the last year, had an issue on the last shipment (nothing too big) but majority of shipment went without a hitch.

Would use them again.

They used to be a freight broker with 1 five ton truck. A Year or so ago, they added a couple of highway trucks. We've dealt with Dave for last few years. He is very honest guy.

I have done a few loads with them and received fair rates and excellent service.
 
I've worked with Airgroup - Dave for years - many times over - good carrier, good communication, continue to be my go-to.
 
Sorry, I cannot agree with everyone. Tried to use them ourt of Port Wentworth, GA 2 times. Last time about a year ago did not work. Tried again this week. Dave promised to pick up on Aug 24 - did not happen, we followed up on the 25th, said he would be in for sure, did not happen, today the we are getting a story that the driver was in at 7:00 AM, and was advised that they only ship in the PM. Checking with the shipper this is not true, so now we have been lied to. Sorry Dave, you have been moved to our "DO NOT USE" list.
 
Airgroup - Surrey

This carrier has performed top notch service for local BC shipments including STR, TG, Pallet Jack, Driver Assist and time sensitive deliveries for us.

Most recently this past Monday.

We are happy to have them in our aresnal of wonderful service providers!!

Same here. Never had an issue with Airgroup. Did a couple of long haul LTL's in December and both picked and delivered as agreed.
 
everyone drops the ball, it is how you pick it back up that differentiates people/companies. All we ask for is communication and the truth, unfortunately we did not get either. Last thing we wanted was to lose a excellent carrier, but could not take the chance on losing another customer.

All the best and hope someday we might be able to work together again
 
In defense of Airgroup

Seems that a GREAT majority of comments were positive, and supportive.

Looking from our perspective as a carrier, we would have to shut down real soon if we held all our customers to the same standard!! We only ask one thing from them!!!

No one is perfect let alone myself, but the truth will set you free. I had recommend this company as you can also see below. As I have stated as well they are now on our DNU. You can also see I do not make it a habit to toss people/carriers under the bus, but also do not want anyone to experience and deal with unneeded added stress because you can not get the Truth or what happened or where your customers freight is.
 
I use Airgroup for all my shipments from BC to USA and vice versa, I deal with dave and he has never let me down so far. there may have been a small delay at some point but overall he is honest and gets the job done at a fair price.

As a former owner/op for them I'll add view from the other side of the desk. I quit them a year and a half ago and and became a ghost the minute I walked out the door. I was only there a couple of months but when I left there were no pay statements, no pay, no indication whatsoever that I ever existed to them. Seeing their name pop up here brought it all back to the forefront for me, enough that I just filed a complaint with the BBB. This is my two cents, take from it what you will.
 
I can't speak for Surrey office but Toronto office just advised us half hour before his pick that they can only pick up tomorrow now. Nobody called us but his driver called the shipper to see if he ships until 11:00 pm tonight? The shipper called us. We called their dispatcher at lunch and were told the ETA was 1:30 today. This was the hottest freight of the week and this ass drops the ball on Friday afternoon and nonchalantly suggesting he can load it tomorrow.

Who does this crap? We will never use them again.
