Hello folks

Which accounting software do you use in your transportation business? We have been using Quickbooks Enterprise version and we feel that we outgrown it. I'm looking for other options(Exploring Microsoft Synamics GP) and would appreciate your feedback.

We've been using Sage Accpac for quite some time. Our version is a little out dated but works well with our dispatch software and being able to import/export revenue for accurate reports.

It is fairly straight forward to use - for accountants and non-accountants.
 
Depending on your size you and your current dispatch system you may want to look at something that can look after you from entering your orders to dispatching the trucks to tracking all your accounting needs also. You really need to look 5 years out and buy now for what you think you will be in the future.
