We had a load double brokered by A & S Consultant. We paid A & S in 15 days and the actual carrier has approached us because they were not paid. A & S does not answer their phone or return messages. We have agreed to split the bill ($550) with the actual carrier. So beware!

Ironically, A&S's dispatch to the actual carrier states that double brokering is prohibited!

Who was the actual Carrier that approached you?
Back in May we moved two (2) loads with this Carrier and everything went well, without recourse from other Carriers to date. In fact, Shipper validated A&S Consultant markings on PU unit. We received notice of Insurance cancellation via Aviva 8/13 and have placed Carrier on HOLD. This tells me that something may have changed.
