We have an opening for a motivated professional with experience in Logistics and Procurement. In this position you are a key member of our growing team, acting as a personal consultant to our existing clients for all their logistics needs as well as developing relationships with new leads. You are responsible for providing the highest level of service via communication between the customers and our network of partners. Industry knowledge and personal confidence are key requirements for this role.
Key job tasks include:
Receive and process inbound and outbound communication via telephone and email.
Provide logistics solutions using our extensive network of partner carriers as well as our in-house fleet.
Manage order process from start to finish including order entry, tracking, and rate audit.
Procurement of new carriers and/or other partners as required to meet the customers’ needs.
Developing strong long-term relationships with new and existing customers through the application of sales techniques to secure future business.
Successful Candidate should:
Have experience in the Logistics and Brokerage fields with a knowledge of sales.
Be comfortable in independent decision making to proactively communicate with customers and prioritize work without high levels of supervision.
Be proficient in both written and verbal English communication.
Be able to function well in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
Have exceptional time management skills.
Have a strong desire to perform excellent work.
Be able to perform well as part of a team.
Be respectful, motivated, honest, and ambitious.
