This US broker, does any one have any kind of experience with them? They post a lot but never answer the provided phone number or reply to emails.

Did a load a few years ago. Was hard to get any waiting time and same with the response time. Not at the co. Anymore so can't comment on payment trends.

We recently did a load for them, and wanted pictures of the truck trailer and driver. Hard no on the driver's part advised that his wife would not approve and they were ok with it. Definitely a weird bunch, but rate was good and they paid in 40 days including postage so not bad.

If they don't answer the phone or reply to email do you really want to continue to try to do some business with them? What will happen when you want to get paid?

I just wanted to see if some one have any experience with them. You are right. If any business can't communicate properly, not a good sign to work with them.

Jear is predominately agents and how "good" they are will purely be determined by that agent.

They are big into the produce game but outside that, I know that we have them on DNU because of an agent refused to pay our waiting time/layover. Corporate was zero help as they said the agent has full discretion.

This is 100% correct.

Dealt with them a tiny bit in my passed life when I was at another company. The agent we worked with (if I recall correctly) was somewhere near Chicago. She worked 100% by cell phone and Email but we billed and were paid by head office. We had no issue.

This company is part of WWEX, which also owns World Wide Express, Unishippers, and Globaltranz. So I wouldn't worry about credit, but as with Landstar, because it is agent based your results may vary.
