Well...
First off, what you "majoriry" mentiong as a vaccine- it is not..
All your childhood vaccines did cure you from illness, now it's not the case.
This multiple shots will just trying to keep you away from hospitals and you are still can transmit the viruses..
But the more important thing is:
I don't and I should not care what medical treatments anyone takes, so should everyone else..
Rant is over, back to the bussiness..
Have loads to deliver, people to see and money to count..

Oh there will be lots of people lining up tp speak to this rowdy bunch. A few that come to mind are Maxine Bernier of the People's Party of Canada, Randy Hillier with his anti vaccine, homophobic rants and certainly some Western separatist groups and other malcontents. They won't lack for entertainment.

I am trying to stay neutral in this but I have a hard time when regular people...tax payers, voters, hard working people, exercise their right in this country to express their opinion civilly, which in this case they are, and they are automatically labelled? Isn't that the exact opposite of what they are ALWAYS preaching not to do? Yes there will ALWAYS be people attaching themselves to an issue just to create unrest and violence, but so far all that's being done is people are saying they don't agree with certain policies and exercising their right to say so. This is a huge part of this problem. We are no longer having dialogues and conversations....we are now taking sides and lashing out at people the don't agree with us and calling them names. This isn't going to end well for anyone if these keeps up. All we are doing is dividing.......

It's not a matter of being vaccinated. Being vaccinated is okay, the problem here is we shouldn't have to get vaccinated more every few months. Or being given an ultimatums, if you don't get vaccinated you aren't allowed to cross the border, go to restaurants, attend sporting events, go to work..... We live in Canada for the FREEDOME of choice. Its not up to our government to tell us how to run our lives or what to put into our bodies.

At first I thought a small group of anti vaxers causing a bit of a stir. Now they have gained momentum and I have come to the conclusion that this is the first time the trucking industry has banded together in an almost whole across Canada to protest something. The Indian community would do it and no one really paid attention but they did cause some change. Maybe this is the start to the Trucking Community banding together on more than just this one issue and fight for the whole industry on issues like rest stops, E logs, Speed limiters, fuel prices. Insurance or anything else that the Goverment causes us all to loose money for no reason. Just my 2 cents.

Personal freedoms and rights stop when it impacts the health and well being of society as a whole.

This is why we live in a civilized society with rules, borders, law and order.

Otherwise we would have anarchy.

2% of the trucking industry is involved in this. Nothing will change and all these trucks will be back moving freight in two weeks. Hopefully they have a “pop-up” vaccination site for them to get their shots….

Absolutely correct, and a divided people are always easier to govern because as a government you don't have to answer to any of them !!!

On a side note ... I read a comment to one of the articles on the trucker convoy ... someone suggested that the government open up a vaccine clinic at the rally. I thought that's friggin' hilarious. Great idea, but still hilarious.

not much to understand, you want to get vaccinated ill help drive you there, if people choose not to its there choice. Its about choice, I don't get why you don't understand that. Remember they said get vaccinated stop the spread, and now they say it doesn't stop the spread, people lost trust and hope, we all have an opinion and we all have a choice. Do you part and don't push your ideas onto others and the same for others to not push there ideas onto you. People have the right to peaceful protest. this argument can go on and on but what's the point you will be closed to anything outside what your told. The problem is our universal health care system is broken you don't want to talk about it? Remember get vaccinated and you get to enjoy the restaurants and the gyms, well those are closed so what was the point? I'm currently in Florida and nobody is sick or dying but again lets watch the news to see how bad the situation is..... Keep yourself safe and do what's best for yourself and leave others to do what's best for them. Having a different opinion is suicide these days.

can't wait for them to mandate vaccines for your pet.

You are pushing your ideas on everyone as you tell everyone not to push their ideas onto others....lol

Protesting is a form of pushing ideas onto others. As long as it remains peaceful, I have no problem with it. I have my doubts once they reach Ottawa...

This is a complex issue and we will agree to disagree....as they say, I would agree with you, but then we would both be wrong :)

I find it funny that people are getting all worked up on their "Freedom" when they are required to get vaccinated but they have no issues with all the other drug testing, speed limiter, ELD, and tracking devices that goes with having an AZ and running a truck cross-boarder, that's where they lose me. Same ones that complain about big brother watching as they are searching Google with their mobile phones.

Tough to get into political debates and I won't offer a personal opinion here but, PART of this protest is so Trudeau will lift the vaccine mandate with the Canadian border. Are these guys aware that if Trudeau lifts it, and Biden keeps it, all that's doing is giving the Americans the upper hand to come into Canada and take work from them?
