Hello, any feedback about Business Porters? They show as having an office in Charlottetown and a PO Box mailing address at Bowmanville Mall (??).

Business Porters have done 16 loads for us (since August 2021)
no negative notes
The only load they did for me personally was well communicated, picked up and delivered on time.
BC to QC maybe a week before they craziness started

we got paid in 39 days (E-transfer) on a $250.00 invoice, but mind you it took alot of staying on the ball and nagging, this was also last year (May of 2021) so things may have changed and improved.

They are a disaster to collect from if you run their freight, on our DNU now.

3 were paid in 30-45 days, with one outstanding for 100+ days, but I think something happened with that load.

Just a heads up multiple carriers on loadlink now coming forward with claims of non-payment from business porters.

I have been trying to collect on 3 invoices from January 2024 and every week I am promised payment will be sent out.

@apjenny do you have backup of bill of ladings? if so, email them without payment asap that you will be collecting from the shipper and or cargo owner for the unpaid balance. If they get alot of freight from the shipper they will pay and not want you going after them

are you willing to share who the shipper/receivers were? We were doing GFL-Pratt IN for them - curious if it's one in the same

No it is local city work and one Montreal.
