Site complaints

Free Forums are for information sharing, however the reader/information searchers have to use their own discretion on the authenticity. As a user/member, i have found this site very useful, saves fuel/time/hassle. If anybody things this is helping certain ppl/businesses or not helping others, i don't think they have stopped any body posting, can vouche.

This site is one of the most useful tools we have. It has offered great insight and helped us avoid potentially costly mistakes in whom we are using along with mostly fantastic members whom share their insights on all facets of the industry for no gain of their own but to simply unselfishly assist others. In my opinion, from the type of users that get removed or blocked is the way they handle some posts they may disagree with or which may threaten their business directly. I get there is emotion in these instances but for the most part any of the members that either make accusations with nothing to back them up along with being unprofessional and belligerent are the ones that get blocked and in my opinion, rightfully so. Not sure what rmarks is trying to accomplish here, I do appreciate the sense of justice if he thinks there are many people being wronged but this site is far from that.
Thanks to this site I got help with some Airfreight to NFLD

Many of the members posting and contributing regularly on this site have been around close to 10 years now. The fact we are still working in transportation and helping each other out where we can, says alot. We know who the 'good apples' in our industry are...and the bad ones. Inside Transport really is a collective effort among colleagues trying to uphold integrity in our industry. It can be challenging but well worth the time. We are lucky to have such a great resource in times of need. I applaud those members for sticking around so long and helping one another on a daily basis.

There are many "good apples" right here on this board. And for that...I'm grateful.

I take some time off and miss all the fun posts.

I've managed to avoid dealing with some suspect companies thanks to the comments of members, both anonymous and those that use their real names. Thank you to all members for trying to protect each other from those with less scruples.

Be safe on the road this time of year, people are distracted with tons on their minds.

Keep well,
Mike

I think Admin is the only one who controls that kind of thing. If it were up to me, I would have changed yours to read 'awesome' a long time ago.

Happy Birthday Mike!

Keep well,
Mike

I think Rmarks is taking a page out of Trumps notebook and trying to call this fake news. All your bullsh*t about people hiding behind an alias and you can't sign your name? Just so you know there is a thread with most of our names on it so your secret list is really not that secret.
loooooooooool

I think it's a warranted purchase for the company for our off road expedited deliveries we get all the time ;-)

Damn they look sweet don't they. It is a pickup truck so technically it is a "truck". Slap a name on it somewhere and you can definitely write it off on your taxes ... LOL

I am seriously considering. I saw one this morning at the dealership as I have a Wrangler Sahara Unlimited but this definitely has some tax advantages for sure... LOL.... I am going soon to pick up mine so I might have to sit down with a sales guy.. ;-)

Is the Sahara your first Jeep?
You know you have to do the "Jeep Wave" right?
At my dealership it's part of the get-to-know-your-vehicle tour ... LOL

Back when I was in University and working part time selling Jeeps (that's right), I'll say the brand is/was fantastic for making cool looking vehicles. I loved all models obviously it was pretty cool driving home some days in a Grand Cherokee Limited, the V8's moved, the stereos were rocking and they truly were head turners back in the late 90's.
I'd go on but you really don't want to hear all of it.
Short version - my last Jeep was 3 vehicles ago and there probably won't be another one. They are a domestically produced vehicle and come with the 'fall apart after 125 000 km' like most domestics that I've owned. Mind you, if you like getting new cars every 3-5 years or want to lease - go for it! :)

Keep well,
Mike
