I took a load from Big Freight before checking the credit. Can anyone recommend them?

Ranged from 33-57 days in 2015 on four invoices, 81 days on one invoice in 2016 and 55 days in 2017 on one invoice.
 
Oh , Well that doesn't sound good. Ive already accepted the shipment. Do you know if they have a QP program? Im getting a voice mail there now.
 
I have them at 60 days for payment of one invoice towards the end of last year. It was not a hassle to get, and to be fair I think the check spent a week in the hands of canada post.
 
I love that Truck News story on how they strive to be best - just not at paying bills.
 
Thanks for the info. I was stuck so i did the shipment, now i hope to get paid within a reasonable time frame. I will update once paid.
 
I see the link you aded truck 05 Maybe the merger will help speed up their payment terms.
 
I think Big Freight is just one of many examples of a trucking company expanding by using a logistics arm at the wrong time. The people are good, but obviously they had a cash flow problem. The fact that they have been bought is only good.
 
Can anyone advise on Big Freight Systems service? I dealt with Grace a few years back and had terrible service. Toronto to Winnipeg is rated at 4000-4200 with my top tier carriers however these guys gave a rate of 3500. This isn't the first time there rates have been substantially lower than other carriers. Curious to why and how. If anyone can give me feedback that would be greatly appreciated. Load pending.

I've been dealing with Grace at Big Freight for many years and never had a problem. Maybe just the luck of the draw. Rates in line with the market; however my loads have been from US to Canada.

What service did you finally get? I am about to cover a load with them and wonder what is their service..
