Fuel Truck Inc. div of Fuel Transport Inc. i must say they have alot of frieght, i call couple of time for montreal to toronto , here is what they always say to me 250 -300 or you need CTPT to move ,i said wow .. i stop calling for they posting and till today, sergo call me and ask me if i had a truck in montreal to cincinnati , yeah , he told me he has full that pay 900 and said wow but i told him i don have CTPT.. and let the cheap load say in montreal, and i heard :click,

wonder where do get all of does load ,

They get them from companies that have no idea what it really costs to ship anything and they just want the cheapest move they can get. Companies like that are the "Walmart" of Trucking...

If nobody moves the loads at those prices, they will have to offer more...

Fuel and there rates

The bigger problem with the rates is that carriers dont refuse these cheap rates because they cant is my guess but until we as carriers start saying NO to these rates its only going to keep dropping the rates and the carriers that are taking the loads will go out of business anyways. Unless we all start saying know we will be stuck with this horrible rate scenario.

Fuel Transport

Add slow paying to the cheap rates and you have a sweetheart deal, they have been on my DNU since February. Cheers

Fuel Truck Inc is on our DNU list and we've never pulled a load for them. It's pretty easy to determine that they are a disreputable company by simply looking up thier credit on the link. If they can't pass that simple test, there's no use even dealing with them. It's hard to sympathise with anyone complaining about slow pay & low rates when the info you need to make an informed opinion is right in front of you.

The names or nicknames over there at Fuel just overwhelm me with confidence. DNU list since at least may 2008. This posting gave me an idea to glimpse at their credit rating, DNU status won't be modified anytime soon. The advantage of blocking such companies on Link is that you forget they even exist and you're a lot more likely to get 8 hours sleep as recommended by most physicians.

Yep, they're on DNU here and at lots of other places. A/P there just jacks people around. Best thing to do if they don't owe you money and they call with freight for your truck, don't give in. They're a carrier. Tell them to put it on their own truck.

When they call here now to offer me a load the first question they ask is "are you still working with us" and the answer is always no. Looks like they know that there are less and less people accepting their bad rates and poor payment terms.

Always missing invoices around 100 days or so. This company is a cheap joke. They get very upset when you call them for payment. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE LOSERS!!!

Careful with these guys...they tried offering us some work a while back, when we told them their credit wasnt good enough for a credit account, they pretty much hung up on us. Their D&B is one of the worst i've ever seen. They used to be a preferred carrier/broker for Pratt and Whitney in Longueil, PQ, but they are closing or have already closed that plant, i think that will put them under. Due dilligence with these guys.

Fuel transport

Ask you for rate and when you give the rate hang up on you and go to another compagny.call us when nobody is interested to a load and try to force us to take that load and the rate was so cheap....the best in the west :)

The funny thing about blocking a company on loadlink is that you forget they still exist afterwards. I blocked Fuel in 2008 because they are probably the rudest bunch of people I have come across in this industry. This is one group that will not be missed and looks it will be sooner then later.

Wow, I am surprised how many of you have had trouble with Fuel! I see the postings in this thread are all a bit older though... We've done quite a bit of work for them. There are two dispatchers/brokers I deal with there, and they have both been very fair to me with rates, and nothing but a pleasure to deal with on the phone. Prompt information, polite conversation... And they pay well too.

I submit my docs via email to their AP lady, and I find they always pay at about 46 days. Not too shabby...

I will have to agree with the majority of the older posts. I found them to be super rude and the rates they offered were down right insulting. They kept calling me on loads they had from Mississauga to Syracuse Ny area for the whopping rate of $400. And when they started calling me sweetheart and honey, that drove me nuts. They must have been out of their minds. Haven't had a phone call from them for a long time...maybe they've cleaned up their act a bit?

Fuel

We have been working with fuel for a few years now.

We have had little trouble being paid.
As our collegue stated the lady in AP is just. Their rates are indeed low but they will generally pay what you ask for when they need it. That is when we work with them .

They had a great dispatcher called Sero who went on to maisliner and is now at Delmar.

They recently moved to a nice new address in LaSalle. I would not worry about their credit worthiness. The big accounts they have left are Domtar & Molson.
