I have invoices that are overdue with them, and they cannot tell me when or if they will pay.

I tried faxing and leaving voicemails and got no response.

Once I emailed, Sharon answered right away and hopefully she'll be issuing my cheque this Wednesday which is 60 days past the invoice date.

Sharon McGowan sharon@aimlogistics.ca

Good luck

Aim

Thanks for your info, they are saying cash flow problems, but they have been paid for the shipment.

Unfortunately, the domino effect kicks in and we all end up with cash flow problems.

They're probably using the money they received to pay their operating expenses rather than us.

I guess the best thing to do is put them on a do not use status once we get our payment.

Good luck! I'm still crossing my fingers that I'll get a cheque issued by Wednesday.:(

Well, so much for getting our payment. Still waiting and following up and not getting much response from anyone.

AIM Logistics - Stoney Creek

My invoice is over 90 days, they have been paid for the shipment but will not pay us. I have filled a complaint with Load Link.

Have you had any more contact with them? They won't answer my emails or phone messages now.

Aim logistics

We are not getting anywhere with them, Sharon does not own the company and she will not give out John's cell number. Cdufrat, I suggest leaving a complaint with the Link and they will call them and see what is up. complaints@linklogi.com. Send me a PM with your phone number if you would like to discuss.

I do have a link with his cell #. Are we allowed to post links?

someone from there

someone from Aim recently called my insurance broker and asked for a copy of my updated insurance. I declined the request based on these postings.

Well, I just got off the phone with Sharon. She doesn't answer her phone, I had to call their dispatcher and tell him that I would be calling his customer if I didn't speak to someone about payment. Suddenly she was available to take my call.

Sharon tells me that my cheque is sitting on John's desk awaiting signing. She then told me he would be back this afternoon, so I said I will stop by every half-hour today so I can catch him and have my cheque signed. She changed her tune, now she doesn't know when he will be back in. She also tells me that John's 90 year old father is dying in the hospital today and that's why she can't get in touch with him. She said she doesn't have his cell phone number, hmmm... weird...

Hey CDUFrat, post that cell number please. We all need to get to the bottom of this.

Anybody else getting any other stories from them??

I'm still crossing my fingers....I emailed him this morning and he said my cheque was mailed yesterday.

I must have caught him before he left to see his father;)

Strange place they have there... I drove by to see what's going on there. At 400 Jones Road, there is no indication of anything that looks like a trucking company. None... There is a sign out front for "Aim Environmental Group" and checking out that company's website I can see that Theo Van Wely is the President. Could that be John's brother or perhaps Father?

Also, in google maps I see the following trucking companies listed at the exact same address: Doug Coleman Trucking, Gulacha Brothers, and Packers Logistics. But again, it looks like there is no signage or any sign of a trucking company at all.

They paid us in 109 days after many many phone calls. They did a load for us and their terms are Net 7 days. I will not be paying within their terms - more like 100 days and lots of calls.

family info

A friend of mine explained it like this. Theo is John's brother, he is the front man, as Aim Logistic's is a div of Aim Waste. John took the family business Niagara Grain into bankruptsy back in the early 90's. Theo then took John under his wing, after working for Boersma Trsp, his brother inlaw, who closed up, more money being a dentist (Boersma is a dentist). Now Theo and his wife have split up, and this may be the cause for cash flow problems (speculation from my source, wife looking for some cash). I think I have this right. Hope you get somewhere with collecting.

Whoopie!!!! I got my cheque...

Thanks to all for the payment info provided here. Also, thank you Bubba-one, for the info on the family ties, interesting read...
