Any one knows about AMG GLOBAL they are out off Brampton. Owner name is Ninder Shoker. We took a load from him LOS ANGLES,CA to Costco, Vaughan
We were agree on C.O.D terms . After dlv next day we went to pick up cheque because they don't do Efts. We deposit the cheque & its bounced. We call Mr shoker for certified cheque after so many broken promises he agree to re issue new cheque but will not able to certify because he is busy. We go to bank & again same story.
I am 100 percent sure this load is Double brokerage . Any body know who do Costco shipment from California . Already call traffic tech . Pls beware from this company before giving any shipment they will do it double brokerage.

8438048 Canada Inc DBA AMG Global has lost their FMCSA authorities. They are listed as having 55 trucks with recent inspections as of November 2023.

I am 100% sure transferring trucks to another company. AMG . JB Transport and Harman Transport (HGC) all are from the same family, and cousins and they all did the same.

Interesting if true. AMG Global has a yard in Mississauga, On and a decent one at that. will keep an eye out for any sign changes but thats gotta cost a pretty penny.

Out of curiosity, Does anyone know what would have triggered them to lose their authority? i checked SMS and saw no red flags that would have caused it at least at first glance.

FYI.......

AMG is happy to announce the purchase of Royal Bhatti transport Inc.We will be operating under Royal Bhatti Transport- under the AMG Group of Companies. With this change and a few upcoming changes AMG Global will now be under the umbrella of AMG Group of Companies. The transition has been in the works for a little bit of time now but effective December 4 any outstanding orders that are dated after this date we will send individual emails to those companies to change the orders under the new MC number 798781 and company. AMG is growing and nothing at all has changed in terms of the capacity and service that we will provide to you in the future.

It is good news for all our staff and the associates as the company is growing.

This email is to all our customers to share our new company details which is attached to this email.

We will be booking all our loads under the new company MC and CVOR going forward.

Does that mean they won't bounce cheques anymore? Is that not a form of fraud?

So a company with 70 power units on Safer (AMG GLOBAL) bought a company with 4 power units (Royal Bhatti transport Inc) and will change its name to the smaller company? *spidey senses on fire*

sighs......more living proof that just because something is borderline legal doesn't mean that its right. But then again, most companies threw integrity out the window a long time ago to serve profit. That being said, shippers do get what they pay for - and this lowest cost model, nothing else matters seems to be the business model that shippers and 3PL's prefer to work with.

Tell me you want to add resiliency to your supply chain but work with the modern day equivalent of buccaneers and tell me again why your supply chain is broken whenever the market moves.

Well In the past few years, I have seen this industry turning illegal money into legal and then cash out leaving behind drivers, employees, and many more decent business owners running after for their hard-earned money.

This is the only downside of the free market, anyone at any time can get in and anyone at any time get out with millions of $$ in personal and offshore accounts and showing govt no money left to run the business.

I think the time has gone now when people used to open a business treat it as a child and do everything to keep it running healthy, now mentality has changed, and for new business owners, it is JUST a business. Open it, cash out, and go open it again, and then cash out.

It feels so nice to see Trucking companies on 401 older than me or have been around for a long time. ( BTW 1986 I was born in). I always wonder what exactly their USP is. It can't be JUST customer service, there has to be something else.
There are many companies here on this Forum that have been here long enough, A huge respect and Big ups, I learned a lot from all these companies and follow you guys, to be honest.

Speaking as someone who has been playing in this particular sandbox for my entire working career, I can tell you that con artists, scammers and other assorted criminal types have been practicing their trade around here forever. Really, the only difference today is that everything is bigger now, more carriers, more shippers and unfortunately more crooks. You actually answered your own question. The companies that are still around after years of continuous operation are exactly the ones who treat their business as if it were a child. Keep it healthy, protect it and watch it grow. A big part of that is remaining on guard for and avoiding the “quick buck artists”, the “smash and grab type” operators. Constant vigilance and employing the strictest of vetting procedures for anyone you want to do business with, customer or supplier, have never been more important.

I learned not to assume - but I'm from Eastern Europe so there is no such thing as coincidences.
