WARNING RE PICKING UP FREIGHT ON CENTENNIAL RD ORANGEVILLE

Emailed Link yesterday on Red and White. Here is the link reply.

Good morning,

Thank you for notifying us.

Unfortunately, Kuldeep Otal had managed to gain access to the load board through this company from February 14th up until February 21st. Red and White Logistics was a victim of identity theft. We have since been notified and have remedied the situation.

We appreciate you bringing this information to our attention.

Kind Regards,

I know the name of the large carrier who brokered the March 1 load to Red & White. Shipper confirmed that they normally pay the large carrier around $8000. Red & White was offering $10,500 to the unsuspecting real carrier. Loss leader??? BTW, address on the R&W load sheet was Calgary.
Haven't done an AB corporate search but I'd bet that the "directors" are completely different to the Brampton/Surrey R&W probably provincially incorporated in ON.

I have reported on many to load link and its a slow process apparently just do your due diligence and ask the right questions if your spidey senses tingle listen to them or feel them I guess and refrain

Load link needs to be supportive not lazy and just let this happen. Too many people loosing money and consumers getting hurt not getting products

If they pay the subscription price as far a LL is concerned they are current and up to date on payments. LL only cares about the bottom line the rest is lipservice imho. Yes they will pull a guy for a couple days here and there but for the most part pay the bill and they think you are golden or that is sure how it seems.

I agree with Rob, it has been like this forever and it probably won't change either. They are just too busy all the time trying to craft up new and creative excuses to justify their next price increase. Wouldnt be surprised if loadlink costs as much as new Honda Civic in the next 10 years.

Try posting on the DAT board for intra-USA moves, more than half carriers that call in are double brokers.

If the freight is out of California, good luck getting one legitimate call

If anyone wants to experience this, let me know. It's really an eye opening experience to how important due diligence is in Intra-US, Canada is catching up though.

Same thing though, DAT does very little to combat it.

Does anybody have any info on (or has anyone had an experiences with) Rendex Logistics/Haulage North America? Much like some of these other companies, they say they're based in CGY but their addresses in their signatures are as follows below. Just curious to see if anybody thinks they're related.

I agree with NotForHire,
I don't use them myself but I ship a lot of high value loads my colleagues use them a lot, 72 loads in 2023 so far.
I do remember a while back that another broker who is in at the same client gave a HV load to Rendex which made me turn around and call all my regular carriers to make sure all my loads were secured over the weekend . not a carrier I would choose to use for what I do, but they are a legitimate carrier

Take a look at this thread:

If it's worth any salt, the SCAC code is: RNXL listed as:
Rendex Logistics Inc.
107 Whitestone Cres NE
Calgary, AB T1Y1S4

Their SAFER has a different address as well:
