Did you like the rate too. You do QuickPay!!!Load Link is awesome! Where else would I find that elusive Quad Axle trailer that is from Edmonton (and has a 647 area code) and happens to be passing through St Johns, NF to do my over-sized load to Arkansas? And with the added bonus that his only truck has never had one of those annoying inspections that might delay him and affect our delivery deadline. Win-win!![]()

These crooks are just like our government....never let a tragedy go to waste.....and right now we are living in Tragic times!!Although Michael Ludwig re-signing with LoadLink is certainly akin to the arrival of the apocalypse, what I find perhaps more disturbing is the number of posts recently here on Inside Transport pertaining to double/triple brokering, non payment of invoices and a rash of other unethical/illegal behaviours. These kinds of unsavoury practices have always been a stain on our industry, even in good times, however lately it seems we are experiencing an epidemic of bad actors and their shenanigans. There is no such thing as exercising too much caution when accepting a new suppler, whether it be a broker or carrier or direct shipper. Vigilance and diligence are the order of the day.
We had that taken out of a NB to ON lane as well. But it was not a Nova Brampton but a couple of carriers from the Maritime's long established and it was already a backhaul rate. You know its bad when your customer tells you that a carrier from Nova Brampton (Brampton carrier fraudlently posing as a Nova Scotia carrier for insurance purposes) has cut your rate from AL to Ontario by 1000.00.
No way is that sustainable, but in the meantime we suffer at the hands of those who think the law is something to be ignored.
we gotta make this a thing now.Nova Brampton
I'd be careful... that may not be a typo.
