Geotab Devices Failing / Unavailable

Good Afternoon All,

We have been using Geotab for ELD since mid-2020 and it has been sufficient.

Unfortunately, some of the units, the Geotab Go, have stopped working and need to be replaced.

What's worse is, I can't seem to get any replacement units as they are back-ordered.

I have been asking since October last year and still nothing.

Anyone else hearing this?

Or, has anyone been able to source these devices lately?
 
Ouch... that sucks!

We have People-net. I don't love it that's for sure. Always issues, though fewer now then there used to be.

I think Mr Ludwig is using Issac. That's what everyone I talk to recommends.
 
Wondering if anyone else out there who is using Geotab ELD is having problems with units failing...

We have had at least 5 units fail on us over the past 8 months or so and it is getting frustrating dealing with it... The people I'm working with at Geotab keep claiming that they have a near zero failure rate, but that's not been my experience.

Any other Geotab ELD users out there that can comment on this?

We use Isaac for ELD. I see the odd carrier come to our yard with Geotab but they usually are 1-2 truck operations.. I use Geotab for pre ELD trucks for tracking purposes and don't have any issues.
 
Good day everyone, can anyone give service reviews on Geotab? we have a small fleet of 5 trucks and their quotation is most competitive so far but we don't know about their service. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

We had a short period where there were many issues with connectivity back in 2022... I was told afterwards that it was something to do with cell signals and that they resolved the issue. Service has been stable and steady since we got past that.
