This engine has been around for some time now. I am curious what is the opinion on the reliability and MPG among the carriers that took the risk and got them in their fleets. I am sure we all remember that the earlier models were certainly not "bulletproof". Thank you for your response.

Currently running 2 of the X15 and love them. Unfortunately I can't say anything nice about the Eaton auto shift it's matched up to, but for reliability and fuel economy it's withing .5 mpg of the DD15.
