BVD Petroleum fraudulent charges

MaxPro Fuel - maxproltd.com out of Sauga, is what we use and a few of my companies use. You can reach out to them - solid discounts but at Husky/Esso and TA/Petro in the US. DM I can provide our account managers number if needed.

Question for everyone: how does insurance work with these BVD and 3rd party fuel cards? my understanding with the Pilot/FJ cards they work like a credit card and protect you against fraudulent charges. How about these BVD and other 3rd part vendors work?

MaxPro has fraud system in place, and do a through investigation to confirm if fraudulent transactions have occurred. They have always reversed payments or disabled cards when this has happened. Never had an issue with them as of yet

300K plus in fraud charges here. On one card over two months. And the worst part is how these people are trying to put it all on us. STAY AWAY OR RUN. Let me know if need lawyer representation
Could you share the lawyer detail? we need one, BVD is refusing to dispute the fraudulent charges

Husky/Esso need better coverage in Atlantic Canada

Really? They had the data breach not the customers, unbelievable. I would lawyer up ASAP and start gathering evidence, there is no reason you should be waiting this long.
Even better, they keep threatening to cut off the cards for non payment of the fraudulent invoices - even though they were the result of insecure data being traded between BVD and Petropass- and even though they were at cardlock locations that our fleet never uses.

Just so you know what kind of corporate ethics they operate with?

You really need to be in contact with a good lawyer. That will immediately change their attitude. They will deny deny and keep denying until they know their demands will be contested.

hahah, imagine being insured by this company? what are some carriers thinking?

We have BVD Cards and go through our statements every week, we had an issue with BVD double charging a transaction but they were quick to reverse it. This seems like a bigger issue and you would think they would have some insurance to protect their clients but i guess not
