Dear Fellow Brokers,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to urgently bring to your attention a concerning situation involving RM Logistic, located at 507 Place d'Armes suite 400 Montreal, QC

Recently, RM Logistic brokered a load to GENETIC BROKERS LLC, originating in Bettendorf, lowa, and destined for Hamilton, Ontario. Unfortunately, they then further double broked it to us. Now, despite our attempts to reach out for payment, we are met with silence from RM Logistic.

In this challenging market environment, I appeal to all of you for assistance. We need your support to recover the funds owed to us. If anyone has any information or contacts with the receiver in Hamilton, Ontario, it would greatly assist us in our efforts to recover our money.

Additionally, I urge you all to remain vigilant and cautious of such double broking schemes. Let us work together to expose and prevent such fraudulent practices from harming our industry.

I love the added cambridge location that they add but is vacant. That's my favorite part of the email. The rest is just well, sad.

Know the owner of RM Logistic in Montreal personnaly and very well - this is almost impossible.
He's aware of this email going around.

The title of the thread is misleading. Based on the original post RM Logistics brokered it to Genetic Brokers who then brokered it to Sodey. RM Logistics is the original broker, not the double broker scammer. I bet we will find out that RM brokered it to a carrier who gave it to, or is affiliated with, Genetic Brokers.

Sodey cannot put a claim into the bond for Genetic Brokers because Genetic was never authorized as a broker. Sodey is out of luck here unless RM did not pay their carrier.

Dealt with RM before and consider their loads regularly. Doubt they broker a load to another brokerage and if it's a US based, either brokerage or carrier, the scenario is even more unlikely. There's a fake name game here.

RM most likely brokered the load to the "sister of genetic" who DB'd it. If Sodey did the move ultimately they should get paid. Not sayin RM's doing this but I'ev dealt with brokers who just ignore the emails for payment when they realize they'ev been shafted and think people will just walk away from their hard earned money, because they cant get a response back. They sure as hell pick up the customers calls though LOL, which is what I'm gathering that Sodey is trying to do with this email.
 
This is a false posting. RM LOGISTIC DID NOT AND DOES NOT DOUBLE BROKE. RM logistic was the owner of the load that was double brokered afterwards. We have no control over that. Its unfortunate that it happens but it does. We are responsable enough to ALWAYS have a BOL to protect aigainst such practice, At the end of the day it up to the carrier to follow instruction. SODEY had the instructions but failed. They put themselves in that situation and now they are trying to make their own justice and bash on RM with no reason. This should not be tolerated. ITS FAKE NEWS and is very damaging for RM. This post should be taken of the website.

Legal action will be taken against SODEY.

It is great that you put that note on your bill of lading. The information in the 3rd party instructions contains a lot more information and would have avoided a ton of headaches for everyone.

Its only great when the instruction are being followed... something that SODEY did not do and now they are bashing our name.

FALSE POSTING. LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN AGAINST SODEY
 
playing devils advocate here, was the BOL signed by Sodey? if it wasn't those waivers might not hold water in a court. From the email from Sodey, they are not accusing RM Logistics as the double broker, rather:

As a carrier who's been in these situations, it goes a long way if the original broker is willing to work with me, rather than try to wash their hands of the situation.

we did not brokered it to Genetic. We gave it to a carrier that brokered back to another broker (generic) that gave it to Sodey.
