Some times you even have carriers that go in cut your rate then complain they took it too cheap. Then complain to the original carriers about how long the shipper takes to pay. Kinda wild how some things work out.So, there are some big players that have an agreement in place that has a profound impact on the transportation rates. Well, so what? Do you really want the gov to step in an 'fix' it? Even if all this could be fixed somehow to improve things, there will always be a carrier gambling on outsmarting a competition by cutting the rates and doing it for less. And, there always will be a load broker trying to maximize the profit if the carrier is willing to go that route. Period. It's a part of the human nature. Good luck fixing that!
