***Be Cautious***We gave them two loads, to find out in the end both were double brokered. They lied when asked if the loads were double brokered, when told we had one carrier provide proof they stated "one had to be covered on a partner carrier that we work with all the time as our truck broke down"...Typical. The carrier said it was the first load he ever hauled. We held payments and demanded the delivering carriers be paid we were copied on the payment notification.

That is the proper way to handle a case of double brokering. Hold onto the payment until it can be determined who really hauled the freight. Unfortunately in most cases, you don’t find out that your load has been double brokered until the actual carrier comes calling looking to be paid for his work. Or worse, your customer calls you wanting to know why this angry trucking company is threatening them with legal action for non payment.

We were lucky the first carrier was very nervous about getting paid. He did contact our client and was directed to us, we then reached out to the client and advised that we would handle form here not to worry any further...Not all work out this way you are correct @loaders

They called as TG Transport and let the Tony Gill slip out. Good thing I knew about this. Told them no thanks.

Booked two shipments with them (probably double brokering them). They cancelled on us twice. 1st was cancelled because shipment wasn't ready until Friday instead of Wednesday as planned apparently. 2nd cancellation was due to shipment being "moved by the shipper" to the Albany NY area instead of near Bronx NY...…..anyways.
