I have a customer in Indiana that has 2 40ft containers in Port of Vancouver that where rerouted on them and have no idea of how to even arrange trucking out of there. The freight forwarder that got them and did the screw up has washed there hands saying the freight is in North America your problem now. Is there any one here that can maybe get them out and devan them on a BC dock so we can get them to Indiana? Must admit this is a new one for me.

Try Aman at OTT Transportation in Surrey, BC they have been doing several transloads for us in the past few weeks
they typically bring in lumpers after 6pm to unload but can make arrangements depending on what you need they have been very helpful.

Try Dorian or Gord at GNS Freight Langley BC, they are brokers but can probably set up drayage and crossdocking for a flat rate and then you can broker the load to IN from that point.

Or . . .

A few weeks ago we did Port of Halifax to MN with sea cans on stepdecks, live unloaded in MN then dropped the empty cans at CP in Minneapolis .

Maybe something like that is an option to look into.

He is a very good guy that will help you out if he can.
