do these guys have trucks or are they just brokers? They quoted a very low rate on a shipment we have, but their MC number is invalid.

They did have trucks at one time but got rid of them a while ago according to Herman at Tristar

We do a fair amount with them. Average 60 days to pay.

Email your invoices and stay on top of them for payment. You will have to make a couple inquiries with Nancy in A/P but she always replies with detailed payment information.

Rag loads but they work pretty good other than they want to change delivery points sometimes. Pays market rates.

Very disappointed with Tri-Star, we took an oversized load from them, to load Monday this week, bought permits and truck arrived at 11:30 am driver is told he's early for a 2pm pick. than after an hour another truck shows for this load. Seems customer cancelled with Tri-Star and went with another broker, customer told Tri-Star on Friday to Cancel, but communication in Tri-Stars office failed to update all parties. Now struggling for 4 days to get compensated for permits and drivers time, Uggh. back and forth with Judy, and Nancy, but nobody want to cough it up. On my DNU list until this is resolved.

Take it up a notch, ask for Hermann. He is Ops Mgr.
